Mitzi and Simon have been invited to China for the second time this year to teach djembe and dundun dance. This time, they are heading to Qingdao, on the East coast, from the 29th April – 9th May. There will be a camp which is open to the general public followed by an intensive for teachers within the company. Simon will then spend a couple of days recording parts in a studio while Mitzi heads home to teach her Monday class! (I love my students)
While we’re away, classes will continue as per usual with some excellent guest teachers. We will have Ghanaian dancer Kwame Tosuma teaching Mitzi’s Monday night classes, Meagan Otu teaching Thursday daytime class and Masaki Yamashita teaching djembe classes for Simon on Wednesday evening. Enjoy!
