Dan started playing the flute at aged 10. His musical education includes a Certificate in Jazz performance from NMIT, and an improvisation degree from the Victorian Colleg of the Arts. Daniel adds his original touch to the sound of the West African Kora in the group Casamance (since 2005).

Daniel has embraced a rich diversity of music including a performance and study tour to India (1997), a Didjeridu study tour to Australia’s Arnhemland (2000), touring in Turkey with Turkish fusion band Unified Gecko (2005) and a European tour with the organic trance group Morph (2006).

Daniel adds his original touch to the sound of the West African Kora in the group Casamance (since 2005). Daniel extended his passion for West African music and dance with a study tour to Ghana (2007) and he now also performs African style music with the group Ouaga and The Marabou Project. Daniel has been performing his solo project Animus since June this year.
