Tjoni’s focus is on exploring elements of performance art as a medium for self empowerment, spiritual growth, community development and social awareness, as a performer, director and workshop facilitator.

After a decade of backstage theatrical involvement and costume making, Tjoni took to the stage six years ago after falling in love with the art of spinning fire. Since that momentous occasion, and the fiery obsession that sprouted from it, her interest as a performer has deepened to include a broad spectrum of physical creativity.

She has produced and performed in an eclectic variety of shows around Australia, including fire shows, African dance, bellydance, burlesque, clowning and physical theatre.
