Roanne Licht and her team at Afrotonic present wa2wa – a 3 day drum and dance festival in Perth featuring the great Guinean dancer Alya Makity , plus Mohamed Bangoura, Odai Affotey, Djibril Diagne, Michael Boase and yours truly (Mitzi). 19-21st April

Camp Samatou photos
Our biggest event of the year, Camp Samatou is held 1.5h from Melbourne in November. This year was extra special with three Bangouras from Guinea – Mohamed, Sibo and Seny (all the way from Italy!) We also had Lam Lakiz (Congo), Jean Marc Agbogba (Cote d’Ivoire) and support drummers Odai Affotey and Emmanuel Aryeetey (Ghana).
