What an event. Every year we are reminded of the magic that bubbles up from 4 days of drumming, dance, singing and laughing with wonderful souls. We had some wild weather (31 degrees one day 13 the next!), the best talent night yet – a voyage to Hamanah, our very own Aussie griot Alex Salvador, bellydancing, ladle toting masqued men, and heart rending personal sings of grief and connection and and of course Myrna and David McRae holding it all together behind the scenes.
A very big thank you to all of you who continue to support us. Let’s see what awaits us next year 😊
