Flash mob 9th May 2026

Yes it’s time to get mobbing again!! We are SO excited to be enlivening Melbourne CBD with some spontaneous infectious energy ๐Ÿช˜๐Ÿ•บ๐ŸŽ‰

Presented by Melbourne Djembe & Baker Heart & Diabetes Institute

What is it?

An ordinary day in the middle of the city… suddenly the sound of drums can be heard. And then there is a dancer, and another, and another.. until we have around 50 dancers dancing synchronously to live percussion. As suddenly as it began, it’s gone. Everyone back to business.

This will be an amazing opportunity to be part of exciting street entertainment. Video provided post-event.
Check out our previous flash mobs: Flinders St, Southern Cross, Luna Park

This time we are combining forces with the Baker Heart and Diabetes Instituteย to promote incidental exercise, and encourage everyone in the community to move in whatever way makes you feel good to enjoy healthier, longer lives. Donโ€™t miss out!
