On Saturday 9th May the city of Melbourne was alive with the energy of 80+ drummers and dancers. Channel 9 came down along with a huge crowd of onlookers (some of whom were swept into the show). Featuring 2 – 80 year olds, people who had danced all their lives and those who had never done a class before, locals and others who had travelled in from Ballarat and Port Fairy… it truly brought everyone together.
A buzzing engine of joy.
Thank you to everyone who drummed, danced, looked after bags, took photos and videos and especially to The Baker Institute who initiated the event (and did all the paperwork for permits!!!).
