Melbourne Djembe created a spectacular show for a high-profile awards evening at the Regent Theatre ballroom in Collins st. Above us, The Lion King was in progress, so our show had a similar theme (and was timed carefully to occur during interval!). Contortionist extraordinaire Soliana Ersie started the show, followed by Firefly dundun dance, African dance by Appiah and Sackey and Acrobatics by Nii Kpakpo Addo. Simon Lewis plus three drummers and a flautist created beautiful music to accompany each act.
It was a fantastic night. Thanks to all performers for their effort.
