Over the weekend of 25/26th June, Jean Marc Agbogba hosted his Heart of Africa festival for the first time. Mitzi was invited to teach traditional West African dance, dundun dance and Soukous and Simon taught a beginner djembe class.
There was a wild show on the Saturday night with a Cuban fire artist (with even more excitement when the fire alarm went off!).
We had a crew from Melbourne travel up for the event. It was so much fun. Already looking forward to next year!
