For our seventh year, we performed at Buddha’s Day and Multicultural Festival on the main stage at Federation Square. It was an epic show with all djembe students, dundun dance and two African dance classes performing together.

Our biggest event of the year, Camp Samatou is held 1.5h from Melbourne in November. This year was extra special with three Bangouras from Guinea – Mohamed, Sibo and Seny (all the way from Italy!) We also had Lam Lakiz (Congo), Jean Marc Agbogba (Cote d’Ivoire) and support drummers Odai Affotey and Emmanuel Aryeetey (Ghana).
