To celebrate spring, we had a day of djembe, dundun and dance. Of course – it being Melbourne our lovely sunny day turned cloudy so we moved it indoors.

The sweet mamas are moving up in the world! We have found a lovely new studio in Brunswick with climate control, car parking and a new green space across the road for post-class lunching.
Another awesome event! Nothing better than a drum and dance festival to heat us up in the middle of winter.

During her visit to Guinea in February, Mitzi organised the dispatch of 120 instruments which are currently in transit. Stay tuned for their imminent arrival!
For our seventh year, we performed at Buddha’s Day and Multicultural Festival on the main stage at Federation Square. It was an epic show with all djembe students, dundun dance and two African dance classes performing together.

Mitzi has just returned from Etna Afro festival – an African dance camp at the foot of Etna volcano in Sicily.
An incredible experience of drum, dance and new friends.
On 2nd April 2023, 68 dancers mobbed the city. We had an absolute ball! Thanks to all who joined in the fun.
